Though I claim to be an omnivore, I am partial to meat products. I have been known to eat seafood, but only in a pinch. A pinch being my wife throwing a plate of fish in front of me and saying, "Oishii, yo." and batting her eyes at me.

How does one say no to that?

Anyway, I'll check out Hashiya next chance I get.

Ha. The seafood stuff is my favorite, but meatsauce, mushrooms, etc. are all good. Also, the salads are good. Again, I like the one with crab, but there is a good one with mushrooms.

In all my years here, I have never eaten at Hashiya. Hell, until today, I had no idea they strictly served pasta. Think I'll hit the next Hashiya I see.

Joi, what do you recommend from the Hashiya menu. If it starts with s and ends in d, with the letters 'eafoo' in between, forget about it.
