DAF 2005

The Digital Art Festival 2005 opened in the Ariake area of Tokyo on Friday and runs until tomorrow (Tuesday Dec 13th). The exhibits are interactive and the artists are on-hand to show you how to play with their creations.

Ignore the 2004 part — it’s actually for the 2005 site. (It is all in Japanese, though. No English version.)
If you go to that link, it will give a QR code[1] that you can use with your camera phone — so that you don’t have to type the URL on your mobile.

And it is a nicely designed mobile site, Matches the non-mobile version well.
And yeah, I know the event is already over. But there are nevertheless some interesting things to explore there.
For one thing, there are links to something called DAF モバイルシアター (DAF Mobile Theater), the subpages for individual artists. A links on those pages to short videos by each artist. But you need a Docomo FOMA handset to view them, it seems.
