What we have to do when we arrive at grandparents’ house is to go to the little shrine in one of the rooms, and pray to the spirits of the ancestors. Nothing religious, just wishing for good health in the family.
The cool things about this particular alter are that: there’s a candle with our family crest in it, and there’s an incense which when it’s all burnt, it shows holy scriptures. Grandparents like the new technology too.. :)
