Tokyo Disneyland
We had a great meal at Monsoon Cafe in Ikspiari over the weekend. The portions were rather small, but delicious. We passed TDL and thought about getting season tickets.
Our son is 2.5 years old. Is that still too young? Anyone have any advice?

Ouch. If you want your home filled with pink rabbits and Snoopy dolls and posters of a distinctly tipsy/hangover Winnie P (Hunny? Come on, what kind of lesson is that for the kids!) Let him go to Epcot in Florida when he is 15, but TDL… No way.
Keep him away from over-commercialized Disney characters? Some chance. We won’t be buying any of the big soft toys though.
hi James, we took our son (also 2.5 years old at the time) to tokyo disneyland in december and there are places he was able to enjoy – like small world ride, toon town, buzz lightyear and just watching the parades. not to worry – the one visit there hasn’t turned him into a mickey fanatic. go ahead and have fun!
Thanks very much Liezl. I’m sure our son would enjoy all of that; we’ll probably take him this Spring before it gets too hot.
By the way, your website looks very interesting – I’ll be checking back there for ideas!
Cheers
Thanks. The site is something of an attempt to stay creative while being a full-time mom. If you have suggestions as to fun places to take the kids that doesn’t cost a fortune please let me know : )
Oh how could I forgot to mention Tom Saywer Island and the steam engine train ride!
