It's usually a depressing topic as the weather is pretty awful. However, when there is a nice day, boy do we make the most of it! Suddenly everyone has a convertible car, any green space is covered in people sunbathing and the day ends with everyone sunburnt & drinking outside the pub. Despite our incessant rain, the UK has more open-top cars per capita than the rest of Europe - figure that one out... We always talk about the weather in England; I guess we’re known for it. In Ozu's movies, characters were talking about weather a lot.
