Super fresh raw seafood is just heaven in your mouth. Yeah, it's hard to wake up so early to get to the auctions. If your hotel is not so far away, maybe a cab would make more sense. I've never had the chance to go (or rather willpower to wake up) to the Tsukiji fish market auctions the few times I've been in Tokyo but it looks interesting. I went to the seafood market in Hakodate and it was a lot of fun. I'll never forget the taste of fresh ikura and crab! The sushi and ikura look so good!
